The hearing “Towards the European Elections 2024” aims to capitalise on the remarkable increase in turnout rates of the last election, which ignited a momentum for the launch of a deeper process of democratisation of the Union. MEPs will exchange views with Prof. Steven Van Hecke, Associate professor in comparative and EU Politics at the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute, and Mr Francesco Grillo, Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute and Affiliate Professor at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa.
