On Thursday 2 February, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will receive Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin in Stockholm. It will be Mr Kristersson’s first reception of a visiting head of state since the Government was formed.

Time: 
Place: In person and digitally. Journalists who have registered in advance may come to Bella Venezia (via Rödbodgatan 6) or take part digitally on Zoom. Entry from 14.15.

Advance registration required by 12.45 on 2 February via email. Those attending the press conference in person will be allowed to ask questions first and then conduct individual interviews. Journalists who take part on Zoom will receive practical information via email.

The meeting of Prime Ministers will focus on Sweden’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the security policy situation.

“My very first bilateral visit abroad as Prime Minister was to Finland, and now the first visit to Sweden by a head of state during our Presidency is from Finland. Our two countries have a long history of cooperation and solidarity, not least in the EU. In addition, we are joining NATO hand-in-hand,” says Mr Kristersson.

A joint press conference will be held after the meeting.
