The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control of iCIMS Holdings LLC (‘iCIMS’) by TA Associates Management L.P. (‘TA Associates’) and Vista Equity Partners Management LLC (‘Vista’), all of the US. iCIMS provides human resources software for staff recruitment and onboarding. TA Associates is a private equity firm with portfolio companies active across multiple industries. Vista is an investment firm focused on financing software, data and technology-enabled businesses. The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would raise no competition concerns, given that iCIMS has negligible actual and foreseen activities in the European Economic Area. The transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
