On 6 February 2025, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (EU-LISA) and the EU Cybersecurity Agency ENISA signed a Cooperation Plan for 2025-2027, reaffirming their shared commitment to enhanced collaboration in cybersecurity, information security, and operational resilience.
The Cooperation Plan focuses on Strengthening Security Cooperation, Advancing Research Collaboration and Expanding cooperation in further areas, such as Corporate Quality Management, Data Protection, Communication, Policy Coordination, and Administration.
It underscores the agencies’ long-standing and close partnership in information security and business continuity, as well as on expanding knowledge in network and information security, ICT applications, and operational IT system management
In the framework of the Cooperation Plan, the agencies have also committed to closer coordination on shared interests within the EU Agencies Network (EUAN).
Maintaining open dialogue and structured cooperation remains a priority for both agencies, as they remain committed to assess progress and determine next steps as part of their ongoing collaboration for the benefit of the European Union security.
