The Commission is in no position to comment at this stage due to a pending court case on the matter.
Past allegations of misuse of EU funds in relation to certain Palestinian Civil Society Organisations have not been substantiated.

Civil society is an essential contributor to good governance and sustainable development in the EU, in Israel, Palestine^* and elsewhere. The EU will continue to stand by international law and support civil society organisations, as they play a crucial role in promoting international law, human rights, and democratic values.
