On Monday, Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, will be in Malta for the launch event of the €817 million Cohesion Policy Partnership Agreement with Malta.
Commissioner Ferreira will meet Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta; Silvio Schembri, Minister for Economy, European Funds and Lands; and Chris Bonett, Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds. The launch event will take place at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali.
Afterwards she will visit the EU-funded ‘Ta’ Qali Crafts Village’ accompanied by the Parliamentary Secretary and by the Minister for Economy for discussions with the local artisans. Then, she will visit a component of the water major project ‘Towards a Net Zero Impact Water Utility – ensuring Integrated Water Resource Management’, particularly the tunnel in Ta’ Qali that connects it to Pembroke.
