Tomorrow, Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, will be in Ljubliana, Maribor and Murska Sobota, Slovenia, for the launch event of the 2021-2027 Partnership Agreement with Slovenia. She will meet with Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob, Minister for Development and European Cohesion Policy Dr Aleksander Jevšek and with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Irena Šinko. A press conference will take place on 28 September, 17:45 CET, at Ljubljana Castle. On 29 September, Commissioner Ferreira will visit several projects funded by Cohesion Policy in Maribor: the Vega supercomputer at the Institute of Information Science and the INNOVUM project planned at the University of Maribor, where a discussion with young people will take place on “Sustainable Future of Youth in the EU”. She will also visit the Pušča Roma village.

In the afternoon, Commissioner Ferreira will travel to Zagreb, Croatia, where she will meet Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and Minister for Regional Development and EU Funds, Nataša Tramišak before joining a special meeting of the Croatian Government where the 2021-2027 Partnership Agreement with Croatia will be officially presented. A press conference will be held at 18:15 CET. On 30 September, in the morning, Commissioner Ferreira will deliver the opening speech at the Conference on EU Cohesion Policy with Minister Tramišak at the University of Osijek. This will be followed by visits to EU Cohesion Policy funded projects in the region and by a meeting with entrepreneurs at the Business Incubator BIOS.
