EP AFCO Committee: Debating electoral law, right of inquiry, meeting with national MPs

The Committee on Constitutional Affairs will hold an inter-parliamentary committee meeting to reflect on the reform of European electoral law, on which the Committee is currently preparing a report, on 22 June. The meeting will also look into the provisions governing the European Parliament’s right of inquiry. Parliament’s capacity to establish committees of inquiry is one of the institution’s main tools of political control regarding the implementation of EU law.
