Brussels, 11 July 2024

Today, ENTSOG launched a public consultation on its Annual Work Programme 2025 and is inviting stakeholders to contribute in defining the right priorities and to identify the most relevant projects for ENTSOG in 2025. The consultation remains open until 6 September 2024.

Piotr Kuś, ENTSOG General Director, said, “The Hydrogen and Decarbonised Gas Market package is just one of many legislative frameworks within which ENTSOG works, but is the most significant since the expected deliverables and tasks span all ENTSOG business areas. There are many new activities relating to gas quality monitoring and reporting on renewable and low carbon gases, such as biomethane. ENTSOG will continue to actively participate in the further development of any network codes, if requested, as well as facilitate the technical cooperation of Transmission System Operators with Hydrogen Network Operators and Distribution System Operators.”

It should be noted that at the time of publication of the draft ENTSOG Annual Work Programme 2025, the Hydrogen and Decarbonised Gas Market Regulation is not yet published in the Official Journal of the EU.

The draft AWP 2025 document and the consultation feedback questions are available on the ENTSOG website, here.
