From today until Thursday 6 October, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, will be in the Silicon Valley, in the US, to present the new European Innovation Agenda and to hold meetings with academics, tech leaders, and startup venture capitalists. Discussions during the Commissioner’s visit will focus on the innovation agenda and start-up entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley, as well as the Commission’s efforts to create an innovation ecosystem in Europe that fosters deep-tech innovation and strengthens Europe’s future competitiveness. Commissioner Gabriel will also visit the offices of META, Plug N Play and the startup Electric Hydrogen.
