Pesticide residues: MEPs vote down two EU Commission decisions

MEPs today rejected two EU Commission decisions allowing import tolerances (residue levels) for several pesticides coming with imported products such as cereals, seeds, meat, liver, and kidney, as well as with imported lemons, limes, mandarins, and okra. The use of these pesticides is already banned in the EU and should therefore not be allowed for imported goods.
