EU Commission restricts use of a sub-group of “forever chemicals” (PFAS)
Today, the EU Commission has adopted new measures to protect health and environment by restricting the use of Undecafluorohexanoic Acid (PFHxA) and related substances. These are sub-groups of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (‘PFAS’), very persistent and mobile in water. Their use in certain products poses an unacceptable risk.
