Belarus: EEAS Statement on the 4th anniversary of Lukashenka’s election fraud
Four years ago, Belarus’ presidential election saw electoral fraud, mass protests and a brutal crackdown against the democratic opposition. Belarus moved further into isolation and dependence on Russia. It became complicit in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. The EU continues to support Belarusian civil society and democratic forces, fighting for a free and democratic Belarus.

First EU-coordinated medical evacuation of Palestinian children from Egypt to Spain
In a first EU-coordinated medical evacuation, 16 Palestinian children and their families were transferred from Egypt to Spain. The operation was financially and operationally supported by the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (EUCPM), in close coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), the Palestine Childrens Relief Fund (PCRF) and authorities of all countries involved.
