NATO Secretary General participates in a meeting of the European Council

On Thursday, 29 June 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will participate in a meeting of the European Council at the Europa building in Brussels. Ahead of the meeting, he will give a joint press point with the President of the European Council, Mr. Charles Michel.

NATO SG meets with the Deputy PM of Ukraine, 14 September 2023

On Thursday, 14 September 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will receive the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Ms. Olha Stefanishyna, at NATO Headquarters. There will be no media opportunities. Photographs of the meeting will be available on the NATO website after the event.

Deputy SG welcomes NATO’s deepening partnership with Moldova

From 14 to 15 September 2023, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană is visiting Chişinău to discuss NATO’s deepening partnership with the Republic of Moldova. During his visit, the Deputy Secretary General met the Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and President of the Parliament Igor Grosu. Mr Geoană also met with senior military officials and will engage with students and civil society representatives.

NATO DSG welcomes the Deputy PM of Ukraine

On Wednesday, 4th October 2023, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr Mircea Geoană, will welcome the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Ms Olha Stefanishyna, at the NATO Headquarters. Ms Stefanishyna will engage with Allies at the NATO-Ukraine Council (NUC). There will be no media opportunity.

Meeting of NATO Ministers of Defence, Brussels, 12-13 October 2023

A meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Defence Ministers will take place on 12-13 October 2023 at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels. The meeting will be chaired by the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg. Media representatives without annual accreditation to NATO can apply for ad-hoc accreditation to the Ministerial meeting. The deadline for accreditation is Thursday 28 September 2023, at midnight (CEST). 

NATO SG to participate in the CNAD

On Thursday, 19 October 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg will participate in the Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD). There will be no media opportunity. Photographs will be availble on the NATO website after the event.

NATO Secretary General meets with the President of Hungary

On Wednesday 8 November 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Jens Stoltenberg, will meet with the President of Hungary, Mrs Katalin Novák, at NATO Headquarters. The Secretary General and the President will give a joint press conference at NATO HQ after their meeting.

NATO Deputy SG to visit France

The Deputy Secretary General will meet the President of the National Assembly, H.E. Ms Yaël Braun-Pivet. Mr Geoană will also meet French government officials, including the Secretary General for Defence and National Security, Mr Stéphane Bouillon, and the Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Anne-Marie Descȏtes.
