Heads of missions meet in Helsinki
Finnish Government Helsinki, FinlandHeads of Finland’s missions abroad and foreign policy leaders will meet again at the Annual Meeting of Heads of Mission in Helsinki on 21–23 August. The meeting will discuss the impact which the new multipolar world order and the transformation of geoeconomics and technology will have on the position of Finland and Europe. The conditions under which the EU can pursue its global role are also on the agenda. In addition, Finland's recent membership in NATO will provide a new framework for the discussions.

Items on the agenda include the situation in Ukraine and migration issues. Finland will be represented by Minister of the Interior Mari Rantanen. The Spanish Presidency is seeking political agreement between the EU Member States on extending temporary protection for Ukrainians.
Estonian PM Kallas to visit Finland
Finnish Government Helsinki, FinlandEstonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will visit Finland on Friday 29 September at the invitation of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. During her visit to Helsinki, Prime Minister Kallas will also meet with President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.
