On 26 September 2023, an informal meeting of EU culture ministers will take place in Cáceres. It will be chaired by Miquel Iceta, Acting Minister for Culture. Ministers will discuss the role of culture as an essential public good and they will sign the “Cáceres Declaration” in support of culture as state policy. They will also exchange views on the sustainable management of cultural heritage, including cultural landscapes.
