Opinion in Case C-124/21 P International Skating Union v Commission
(Competition Law)
The International Skating Union (ISU) seeks partial annulment of the judgment of the General Court of the European Union delivered on 16 December 2020, International Skating Union v Commission (T- 93/18).
By this judgment, the General Court had partially dismissed its action seeking the annulment of the decision of the European Commission, of December 8, 2017, relating to a procedure for the application of Article 101 TFEU and Article 53 of the EEA Agreement.
The Commission had declared, in its decision of December 2017, that the rules of the International Skating Union providing for severe sanctions against athletes who participate in speed skating events not recognized by it are contrary to the rules of the Union in matters of competition.

Information regarding which advertising is presented to you and how you interact with it can be used to determine how well an advert has worked for you or other users and whether the goals of the advertising were reached. For instance, whether you saw an ad, whether you clicked on it, whether it led you to buy a product or visit a website, etc. This is very helpful to understand the relevance of advertising campaigns.
- You have clicked on an advertisement about a “black Friday” discount by an online shop on the website of a publisher and purchased a product. Your click will be linked to this purchase. Your interaction and that of other users will be measured to know how many clicks on the ad led to a purchase.
