Visit of the College of Commissioners to the Spanish Presidency in Madrid, Spain.

Mr Frans Timmermans in China (until 4/07): meets with Mr Xie Zhenhua, China’s Special Envoy for Climate Change; meets with Mr Bin Yang, Tsinghua University Vice-President; delivers a speech on climate change and biodiversity loss at Tsinghua University;  holds a bilateral meeting with Mr Huang Runqiu, Minister for Ecology and Environment.

Ms Margrethe Vestager in Copenhagen, Denmark: meets with Mr Jacob Holbraad, CEO of the Confederation of Danish Employers; delivers a keynote speech at the International Union of Architects World Congress; meets with Mr Lars Frølund, Member of Board of the European Innovation Council and lecturer at MIT; meets via videoconference with Mr Hemant Taneja, CEO of General Catalyst.

Mr Josep Borrell in Spain: participates in the visit of the College of Commissioners to mark to start of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Mr Maroš Šefčovič participates in a meeting of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly.

Mr Janusz Wojciechowski in Tokyo, Japan (until 05/07): participates in High-Level Trade Mission; attends working breakfast and networking lunch with business delegates; delivers opening address to business seminar; hosts official dinner; meets bilaterally with Mr Tetsuro Nomura, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan; meets with representatives of JA-Zenchu, the Central Union of Agricultural Co-operatives, chaired by Mr Toru Nakaya; meets with representatives of the Agricultural Committee of the House of Representatives of Japan, led by Mr Hiroyoshi Sasagawa, Chairman of the committee.

Mr Thierry Breton in Tokyo, Japan (until 04/07): meets with Mr Taro Kono, Minister for Digital Transformation of Japan; delivers a keynote speech at the ‘Chips and Skills’ event organised by the Office for Economic Policy and Regional Developent Ltd (EPRD); meets with members of the European Business Council in Japan; meets with Mr Takeaki Matsumoti, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan; co-chairs the Japan-EU Digital Partnership Council meeting; meets with Mr Takahito Tokita, President and CEO of Fujitsu Ltd.

Mr Didier Reynders in The Hague, The Netherlands: participates in the launch of the ICPA (International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine); participates via videoconference in the 30^th anniversary event of the ‘Centre européen des consommateurs’.

Mr Virginijus Sinkevičius receives Ms Kaya Shukova, Minister for Environment and Physical Planning of North Macedonia, followed by the association agreement of North Macedonia to the LIFE programme.
