Meeting of EU marine and water directors

On 5–6 June, Sweden and the European Commission will co-host a meeting of the EU marine and water directors in Saltsjöbaden, near Stockholm. The marine and water directors of the Member States’ ministries will take part in the meeting. Items on the agenda include informal discussions on the implementation of the marine- and water directives, with the purpose to improve the quality of the waters in the EU. On 5 June, a visit is planned to study projects to improve the water quality in the archipelago.
