Meeting of directors of EU paying agencies within the framework of the common agricultural policy

The meeting is held twice a year and the purpose is to faciliate exchange of experience between the heads of the member countries’ agricultural support payment offices, the European Commission and the EU Court of Auditors.

At the meeting, the EU Commission addresses the situation in the implementation of the agricultural support schems and the strategic plans for Common agricultural policy and the member states show examples of how they have introduced their administration for the support schemes. Special focus is placed on the changes to the common agricultural policy that have been introduced for the period 2023-2027. An important area is the introduction of new technology for monitoring the support and for reaching the objectives of the common agricultural policy.
