ECDC digital press conference invitation on 24 March 2022

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe will hold a press conference to present the results of a new joint surveillance report on tuberculosis surveillance and monitoring in Europe and EU/EEA, highlighting 2021 data, a period marked by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The results are presented in conjunction with the annual World Tuberculosis Day.

Date and time: Friday, 24 March 2023, 11:30 to 12:30 CET.

Where: The briefing will be held virtually via Webex. Please use this link to register. Once registered, you will receive instructions by email.

The briefing will be held in English and moderated by Andrea Horvat-Kramarić, ECDC Head of Communication and Spokesperson.

We strongly advise you to register in advance, as spaces are limited. Make sure to include your full name, email, and affiliation in the registration form. If you use acronyms or first names only, we will not be able to identify you during the press conference or give you the floor during the Q&A session.

Please note that on the day you will first have to wait in a virtual lobby before we admit you to the conference. Questions should be asked in the chat or by using the raise hand function.
