In 2023, a new common agricultural policy will be introduced in the EU, including several issues that will be interesting to follow. Sweden plans to highlight the transition to a sustainable food chain, with a focus on effective environmental and climate measures. There will be some 120 participants from all Member States and the European Commission. Focus will be on experience exchanges from implementation of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy in the Member States. Agriculture-related study visits around the region of Skåne will also be organised during the conference.

Study visits. Tuesday, May 23, journalists have the opportunity to participate in study visits to the following places:
Krokstorps Gård in Helsingborg municipality and the Järavallen nature reserve. Departure at 11.30 am. Return to Malmö at 18.15.
Gunnaröds Gård in Eslöv municipality. Departure at 11.30 am. Return to Malmö at 18.15.
Wednesday, May 24, at 14.30-15.30, after the conference, there is an opportunity for journalists to participate in the presentation: Organic farming as an environmental policy in CAP Strategic Plans and National Organic Action Plans. (Dr Nicolas Lampkin, Thünen Institute of Farm Economics in Germany and Josefine Johansson Zuazu, Ekologiska Lantbrukarna, Sweden).
