1 April 2025
The Egg, Brussels, Belgium
As the new year begins, we are excited to invite you to our main annual event – the 13th BEREC Stakeholder Forum! BEREC will hold its Stakeholder Forum in Brussels on 1 April 2025, providing an occasion to discuss the latest telecom developments and to exchange ideas with stakeholders from the telecommunications industry, policymakers and other interested parties. The opportunity for cooperation offered by the Forum improves consistency consistency and a harmonised application of European regulatory rules and practices in the telecommunications industry. The Forum will be held at The EGG conference centre, where fresh ideas are sure to hatch.
We are continuing with the established tradition of holding the Meet&Greet sessions during the first part of the day, with the conference taking place after lunch. The event will then conclude with a networking reception.
The Meet&Greet sessions are informal meetings that take place in person only. Registered stakeholders will have an opportunity to exchange ideas with the BEREC Working Group Co-Chairs, to discuss the challenges the sector faces.
The Meet&Greet sessions will start at 09:00 CET and will last until lunchtime. To take part in one of these sessions, you will need to register in advance for a specific working group (or groups) and a timeslot. Each working group will have three 30-minute rounds of meetings. After a break, a new group of participants will gather to meet the co-chairs. For more information, please consult the registration page. The number of seats per session is limited, and attendees will be registered on a first come, first served basis.
After lunch, BEREC invites all stakeholders to join the BEREC Stakeholder Forum conference. The incoming BEREC Chair for 2026, Marko Mišmaš (AKOS, Slovenia), will welcome conference attendees and introduce the BEREC Work Programme 2026, discussing stakeholder engagement throughout the Work Programme preparatory process. Together with the current BEREC Chair, Robert Mourik (ComReg, Ireland), he will engage with attendees in discussing the current and future challenges in BEREC’s work. During the conference, we anticipate engaging panel discussions on various topics relevant to the role of end users in the evolving digital markets and the future regulation of competitive markets, the new Significant Market Power regime.
