The hearing on Tuesday morning will focus on EU sanctions imposed on Russia’s financial sector, and on the EU’s green energy ‘taxonomy’ debate.
On Tuesday morning, 14 June, at 9.00, MEPs from the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee will meet with Mairead McGuinness, Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union to discuss range of sanctions imposed on Russia that affect its financial sector, but which may have a spill over effect in the EU. They will also discuss with the Commissioner the green energy ‘Taxonomy’ delegated act ahead of a key vote taking place in Parliament the same day.
