I am pleased to invite you to the next round of consultations on the Strategic Agenda, to continue shaping the priorities of the Union for the next legislative cycle. With thanks to our hosts, these discussions will take place in small consecutive groups in Vilnius, Bucharest, Warsaw and Vienna.
By now, we have identified together a set of clear priorities, which converge towards delivering a powerful common goal – a strong, prosperous and democratic Union.
This is the opportune moment for us to delve deeper into each of these priorities, assessing the action that needs to be taken to achieve our goals. This also means putting our money where our mouth is, ensuring that our financial decisions reflect our ambitions.
Your engagement and valuable contributions will be paramount in providing a strategic steer for the future of the Union, which is all the more crucial in today’s demanding geopolitical landscape.
Our discussions will pave the way for a more detailed draft Agenda to be prepared and submitted to the June European Council alongside the roadmap for future work on internal reforms.
