Brussels, 9 July 2024

The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control of Solvares Group GmbH (“Solvares”) by Cheetah, Investment SARL (“Cheetah”), both based in Germany, and by Five Arrows Principal Investments IV Funds (“Five Arrows”), based in Luxembourg.

The transaction mainly concerns the enterprise software market.

The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the affected companies resulting from the proposed transaction. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger control procedure.

Further information is available on the Commission’s competition website, in the public case register under case number M.11566.
