North Macedonia and the EU will meet on 17 March 2023 for the 16th Stabilisation and Association Council. The meeting will take place for the first time in the region in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The 16th Stabilisation and Association Council will review relations between the EU and North Macedonia under the Stabilisation and Association Process.
The participants will focus on the accession strategy, including political criteria, economic criteria and the EU acquis, and take stock of the bilateral relations under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
There will also be an exchange of views on recent developments in the Western Balkans.
