Market situation, in particular following the invasion of Ukraine
Based on information provided by the Commission and member states, the Council will take stock of the market situation for agrifood products in the EU, with a particular focus on the impact of the war in Ukraine.
Packaging and packaging waste
Agriculture ministers will discuss aspects of the proposed regulation on packaging and packaging waste that relate to food safety and food waste.
Other business
Adverse climate conditions in southern Europe
The Portuguese delegation will provide information on the impact of recent adverse weather conditions in southern Europe and ask the Commission to agree to the use of tools available under the Common Agriculture Policy to address the situation.
Marketing of frozen products
The Croatian delegation will share information on current practices related to the marketing of frozen products.
EU-Australia free trade agreement
The presidency will provide information on the latest developments in negotiations on the free trade agreement between the EU and Australia in relation to market access for agricultural products.
