The EU Council today renewed the EU restrictive measures in view of the Russian Federation’s continuing actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine for a further 6 months, until 31 January 2025.

In a conversation with Frederick Kempe, President & CEO of the Atlantic Council, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Allied leaders will make critical decisions for NATO’s future security, including on deterrence and defence, support to Ukraine and global partnerships.
