Ministers will hold a discussion aimed at moving towards the finalisation of the year-long workstream on the competitiveness of the European economy.

The Eurogroup President will set out the emerging key messages for a draft statement and engage in an exchange of views with ministers on this basis.

 

Capital markets union: stocktake on follow-up on agreed initiatives

Ministers will discuss the follow-up to the Eurogroup statement on the future of the capital markets union from March this year, with a focus on measures to facilitate access to capital markets for medium-sized companies.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) President Nadia Calviño will brief ministers on EIB initiatives in this context.
