The European Commission has approved under the EU Merger Regulation the creation of a joint venture by Egis Aiport Operation SAS, Egis Investment Partners France II SCA (‘Egis Investment Partners’), Bouygues Construction Airport Concessions (‘Bouygues’), all three based in France, and Impact V S.à r.l., based in Luxembourg.
The transaction mainly concerns the airport management and operation sector, in particular the bus transport of passengers between Beauvais-Tillé airport and Paris.
The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the undertakings concerned resulting from the proposed transaction. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger control procedure.

La Commission européenne a approuvé, en vertu du règlement européen sur les concentrations, la création d’une entreprise commune par Egis Aiport Operation SAS, Egis Investment Partners France II SCA (« Egis Investment Partners »), Bouygues Construction Airport Concessions (« Bouygues »), toutes trois basées en France et Impact V S.à r.l., basée au Luxembourg.
La transaction concerne principalement le secteur de la gestion et exploitation d’aéroports, en particulier, le transport de passagers par bus entre l’aéroport de Beauvais-Tillé et Paris.
La Commission a conclu que la concentration envisagée ne soulèverait pas de problème de concurrence, compte tenu des positions limitées des entreprises corncernées sur le marché résultant de la transaction proposée. La transaction notifiée a été examinée dans le cadre de la procédure simplifiée du contrôle des concentrations.
