Director of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), Ms Carlien Scheele, will present the agency’s work and initiatives to promote gender equality and eliminate discrimination based on gender, followed by a discussion with MEPs.
Update on EU equality files – 10:15
Director-General for Justice and Consumers (DG JUST), European Commission, Ms Ana Gallego, will present the state of play on equality files, take stock of the work carried out jointly in the last legislative term and answer MEPs’ questions.
