The EU Commission is requesting feedback on the draft implementing act under the revised Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2 Directive). The NIS2 Directive now covers mid-sized and large entities in a wider range of sectors essential to the economy and society, including providers of public electronic communications services, digital services, wastewater management and waste, critical product manufacturing, postal and courier services and public administration.

By 17 October, the Commission will adopt an implementing act establishing the technical and methodological requirements for cybersecurity risk management measures for certain entities in the digital infrastructure, digital providers and service management sectors. information and communication technologies (business-to-business). The public can give their opinion for 4 weeks via the “Give your opinion” portal. Comments can be submitted here.
