The Executive Order updates the special aspects of granting Russian citizenship to foreigners on contract.
The new Executive Order on conferment of citizenship under simplified procedures applies to certain categories of foreigners. These include those who have concluded a contract for military service in the Russian Federation Armed Forces or in military formations during the special military operation or who are performing military service during this period; foreigners who were dismissed from military service during the special military operation on certain grounds; spouses, children, and parents of such persons.
