Iraq: France condemns attack on the Swedish Embassy 

France condemns the damage to the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad that occurred in the morning of 20 July.

Protecting the premises of foreign diplomatic missions and their staff, in accordance with States’ obligations under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, is the condition for ensuring that international relations can be conducted in a common, stable framework.
