DELEGATIONS

ENVI delegation to London

A delegation of MEPs from the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee will participate in the 80th session of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC72) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London 3-5 July 2023. MEPs will also have bilateral meetings with several delegations and meet with representatives from NGOs and the shipping industry.

Third meeting of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly

MEPs and UK parliamentarians will gather in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the state of EU-UK relations, joint efforts to support Ukraine and sanctions policies.

The third meeting of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly (PPA), established by the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) and agreed in December 2020, will feature interventions by, among others, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič. UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly is expected to attend as well.

When: Monday 3 July and Tuesday 4 July 2023.
