On 14–15 June, the EU-funded research programme ESPON will bring researchers and practitioners together in Luleå for a seminar on the ‘Territorial perspective of green industrialisation’.
ESPON, which develops studies on issues to do with regional development, holds a seminar of this kind towards the end of every Presidency of the Council of the EU. In Sweden’s case, the content will focus on the opportunities and challenges associated with green industrialisation, and the investments in northern Sweden that can offer lessons for the rest of the EU.
The seminar will bring together more than 100 participants from all EU Member States.
