Mr Nicolas Schmit in Ljubljana, Slovenia: meets with Mr Darjo Felda, Minister of Education; visits ESF-funded project PUM-O (Project Learning for Young Adults) which helps young people not in employment, education or training to gain skills to help them get a job, together with Mr Ciril Globočnik, Mayor of the city of Radovljica.

Mr Janusz Wojciechowski in Washington DC, USA: participates in talk with Secretary Tom Vilsack at the US Outlook Forum, organised by the United States Department of Agriculture; takes part in field visit to local farm with Secretary Vilsack.
