The 2022 edition of the European Tourism Forum (ETF) will bring together EU countries’ public authorities in charge of tourism, representatives of the tourism industry and destinations, international tourism organisations and EU institutions as well as heads of national tourism boards. They will discuss measures and examples of good practice that contribute to tourism’s transformation and make it more resilient to external influences.
The forum will notably be an opportunity for committed tourism stakeholders to share their best practices and commitments to support the transition of EU tourism.
The forum will include four sessions
- the Package Travel Directive – lessons learned from the pandemic
- the short-term rentals initiative
- the transition Pathway for tourism and its co-implementation
- the trends in tourism
The audience will include representatives from public authorities at EU and national levels, EU networks of regions, European associations, international organisations, industry representatives and other stakeholders from the tourism sector.
If you are unable to attend in person, a live stream of the conference will be available. The video will be live-streamed via the Czech ministry’s Youtube channel on 15 November starting at 9:00 CET. See the link below.
The next day, the Presidency will organise, also in Prague, a meeting with the Directorates-General in charge of tourism in the different EU countries and the European Commission.
