Today and tomorrow, Commissioner Ferreira will be in Vienna, St Pölten and Linz for the launch event of the 2021-2027 European Regional Development Fund and Just Transition Fund (ERDF-JTF) programme. She will meet the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management, Norbert Totschnig. Commissioner Ferreira will visit Lower Austria, meet the State Governor, Johanna Mikl-Leitner and visit a project from the cross-border initiative “Health Across”, which intends to improve the health and quality of life of citizens in the border regions between Austria, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. She will also visit Upper Austria, meet Governor Thomas Stelzer and visit a high-tech start-up supported by the Upper Austrian Venture Capital Fund ‘OÖ Hightechfonds’, which has developed an innovative rotation heat pump. Tomorrow, Commissioner Ferreira will deliver a keynote speech and will participate in a press conference at 11:30, in Vienna.
