Foreign Affairs Council, 20 June 2022
The Council will be informed about current affairs and exchange views on the Horn of Africa, Egypt and the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
General Affairs Council, 21 June 2022
European affairs ministers will prepare the agenda of the upcoming European Council of 23 and 24 June and will exchange views on the way forward as regards the Conference on the future of Europe.
European Council, 23-24 June 2022
EU leaders will address the situation in Ukraine, discuss the economic situation, set out the way forward on the Conference on the Future of Europe and hold a strategic discussion on the European Union’s relations with its partners in Europe.
EU Energy Council, 27 June 2022
Ministers will aim at reaching a general approach on the proposals to amend the renewable energies and the energy efficiency directives that are part of the ‘Fit for 55’ package. They will adopt the gas storage regulation and exchange views on emissions reductions from methane and buildings as well as the energy situation in the EU in the context of the war in Ukraine.
Environment Council, 28 June 2022
Environment ministers will aim at reaching a general approach on proposals that are part of the ‘Fit for 55’ package. Ministers will also discuss a proposal to minimise the risk of deforestation and forest degradation associated with products placed on the EU market with possibly the aim of reaching a general approach. The Presidency will present a report on progress made in discussions on a proposal on waste shipments.
