Pollinators Initiative and state of play on the CAP Reform – EP AGRI Committee

On 1 July, the Commission (DG ENV) will present to the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development a report on the implementation of the EU Pollinators Initiative. This initiative was launched in 2018 to address the decline of wild pollinating insects. The presentation will be the opportunity for MEPs to evaluate this policy tool and discuss further developments in the context of the Biodiversity and Farm to Fork Strategies.

Ahead of this discussion, the Committee will tackle the progress of inter-institutional negotiations on the CAP Reform related files, namely the Strategic Plans, Horizontal and CMO Regulations.
