Brussels, 15 July 2022
MEPs from the Pegasus and other spyware inquiry committee will travel to Israel, home of the spyware provider NSO Group, to meet with the company’s leadership, politicians and other experts.
From 18 to 20 July, a delegation of nine MEPs, headed by Committee Chair Jeroen Lenaers (EPP, NL), will be in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv discussing spyware, cybersecurity and fundamental rights with local politicians, officials, experts and stakeholders.
During the visit, they will meet members of the Knesset, government officials, academics and experts on cybersecurity and digital rights. Also, the MEPs are scheduled to meet with Shalev Hulio, CEO of the Pegasus spyware provider NSO Group.
