On Thursday, the Committee of Inquiry investigating Pegasus and other spyware will hear from Polish victims of spyware and guest experts.

First, the MEPs will discuss the issue with Ewa Wrzosek (a prosecutor targeted with spyware) and Roman Giertych (an opposition politician targeted with spyware). Then, there will be a second panel with guests Adam Bodnar (lawyer and former Polish Ombudsman) and Anna Błaszczak (Director of Amnesty International Poland).
After hearing the presentation of each panel, MEPs will comment on the them and ask follow-up questions. The hearing is part of the committee’s preparatory work for its upcoming fact-finding visit to Poland on September 19–21.
